i have been doing visual effects, simulations and animation for 15 years and during the pandemic became really interested in resin 3d printing due to the extreme resolution it can achieve.
After doing a fair bit of copper electroplating on these prints over the years and realizing how much nicer non-plastic prints are, i took a slipcasting workshop in Winnipeg with Rachael Kroeker as ceramic is the _ultimate_ material. I lost my mind at the possibilities, and started developing a mold making process that allows me to directly pour the plaster molds without having to create a positive model to pour over, as see in this second image.
