The PYROPHYL group of mineral products consists of milled co-products of the Andafrac series and various milled combinations of the Pyrofrac and Andafrac series. The broad range of alumina contents allows for both whiteware and refractory applications. The products have shown to be excellent refractory components in foundry mold and core wash formulations. They also perform in electrical porcelain, technical ceramics and structural clay coatings.
