The PYROPHYL group of mineral products consists of milled co-products of the Andafrac series and various milled combinations of the Pyrofrac and Andafrac series. The broad range of alumina contents allows for both whiteware and refractory applications.
Pyrophyl is a high melting material and is used to reduce hot load deformation and improve volume stability in refractories.
