Notes

A medium-fine ground fireclay. A good choice for economy and consistency.
It burns yellow buff in oxidation and quite brown in reduction firing (partially due to its soluble salts content). Its overall appearance is comparable to Pine Lake fireclay, although it is cleaner.

The manufacturer claims (2023): "Greenstripe is 200 mesh, fine-grained plastic clay with excellent strength in the high-fired ceramic pottery industry. It is also used as a raw material in the manufacture of construction building compound products. It is heavily used throughout the plastic, paint, and ceramic industries."
